So far so good.This happened to me (microphone didn't work, speaker phone and video recording did) in May 2018 after an upgrade to Android 8.1.0. Blocked Google Play Services from accessing the mic, so far so good. They replaced the ports/mic at the bottom of the phone (I'm guessing that's the daughterboard?) No amount of reboots or factory resets will fix it. I'll reinstall apps as needed until problem occurs again.I had this same issue, and for me it was the Fit Notifications app I had installed for showing notifications on my Fitbit Alta.
